Bake a Cake Inside an Egg With This Fun Recipe
If you like to spend a lot of time in the kitchen baking up all sorts of delicious stuff for family and friends, you need to see what this woman does to a bunch of eggs. She just pokes holes in them, empties them of their contents, puts in the cake mix, and voila! Glorious cake eggs!
The great thing about this recipe is that it’s not that complicated to make. You just need to have soft and steady hands and not break the egg.
What You’ll Need:
First, you need to poke a small hole on the eggs and remove all the contents. Rinse with water, and then soak them in salt water.
Next, line a muffin tin with foil and create the egg ‘nests’. Then coat the insides of the eggs with oil.
Make your cake batter and transfer it into a Ziploc bag (cut one bottom tip to make a piping bag). Pour it in to your egg shells and bake them for 12 to 14 minutes.
Let them cool for a while, and then you can scrape off the excess cake with a bread knife.
